Who we are

Kerne is a commercial perception studio. For anything relating to your information, write to hello@kerne.agency. Kerne is the data controller for the information collected through this site.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us. When you complete the enquiry form we collect your name, your email address, the name of your business if you give it, and the details of your enquiry. Our host also records standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry, reply to you, and work out whether we are the right studio for your project. We do not use your details for advertising, and we do not sell them to anyone.

Our lawful basis

We handle enquiry details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to a request you have started, and, where it applies, to take steps towards entering into a contract with you.

Who processes it

This site and its forms are hosted by Netlify, which processes your submission on our behalf. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Both are bound by their own data protection terms. We share your information with no one else.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your request, and, if we go on to work together, for the life of that relationship plus a reasonable period for our records. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we remove it within twelve months.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our host may set the essential cookies needed to serve and secure the pages. We run no third party analytics that profile you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To make a request, email hello@kerne.agency and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
